A mockumentary about a small-town man who is abducted by aliens, meets a group of fellow abductees, leads a daring escape back to Earth, and in the process finds purpose, community, and love.

When a duffel bag explodes into existence over the Nevada desert, Dyson Wheeler - set to be hanged - seizes his chance at escape, killing his captor with the shovel he was just using to dig his own grave. Thus begins Wheeler's mission to avenge the death of his beloved wife Rachel, and in the process, create our particular pocket of space-time, The Future That Matters To Us. The Lord of All Future Space and Time is a classic western tale of revenge interrupted by sci-fi hijinks. Purposefully and joyfully heavy on narration - in the style of early Coen Brothers or somewhere between Goodfellas and Amelie - it's a tall tale in a short film, a fast-paced comedy asking the big questions about time, grief, love and the meaning of life itself.

A group of very different people set sail on an old warship. The passengers include a senator with his son, a newly-wed couple, a mysterious old man, a group of sex workers and a gang of violent criminals. At first the aggressive behaviour of the thugs and their leader is directed at the first class passengers, but then more and more indiscriminately against the rest of those on board. Anywhen In a Time Colored Space is a continuation of Philippe Parreno's Anywhen, filmed by renowned Iranian-French cinematographer Darius Khondji and featuring the voice of Nina Conti, actor, comedienne and ventriloquist. Performing the artist’s own writing integrated with fragments of James Joyce, the amalgamation of words read by Conti makes explicit Parreno’s interest in artificial, digital, and organic matter, and particularly how these forms of life communicate. The film is comprised of long sequences of a live cuttlefish (Sepia Oficinalis — a Mediterranean species of cephalopod) that can change the surface of its body—responding to outside forces such as light, sound and vibration, seemingly projecting the thoughts contained in the monologue. Much of the film focuses on the cuttlefish, which Parreno first kept in a tank in his studio.
